Parrots are great creatures that enlighten, our lives and uplift us in so many ways with their beauty. While we know a lot on parrots, there is still so much to learn. The Blue & Gold Macaw for instance has always been a popular bird when it comes to Macaws but just look at those big beaks, they surely intimidate most people even though they are very much facinated by their beauty! While the B&G Macaw weighs in on an average of 2 pounds, it's a lot of bird for many people, I just would not ever tell someone that it is a good choice as a first bird but then that also depends on the person too.
